Travel insurance

Recommended Posts

Well, you might want to look into your credit card and what type of insurance is included in it as mentioned in one of the previous replies. I believe that credit card insurance is most of the time the best way to go, you already have the card and your paying for that insurance, so why not use it !!?

Call your bank, or credit issuer to find out what you have. Another way would be to use some sort of online tool to know what your credit card offers, and what other offer as well. I personally have used this one a couple of times, and it proved very useful (https://insureye.com/insurance_toolkit/credit_card_comparison)

hope this helps,

Have a great day!!

In regards to Travel Insurance, have just noticed that Cover-More no longer require applicants to have a Doctor complete a medical form for pre-existing medical conditions, in particular relating to heart conditions. You can now answer the additional questionaire online and they give details of what they will cover you for, along with their approval number and any additional premium that would be required.

Sure beats having to go to the Doctor every time you want to go on holidays. We buy their annual policy which usually works out cheaper. It is also the only one that I have found that covers heart related problems (for an additional premium) and can be used for a number of trips throughout the year for up to 60 days at a time - other policies are only for 37/38 days.
