Shopping in Bergen on a Sunday?

I just discovered that a lot of the shops in Bergen are closed on Sunday - and that is the day that my cruise is in port there!

 

What are the best shopping places that do open on Sundays? I am not looking for expensive things (e.g. jewelry) and mainly wanted to shop for books, dolls (girl/lady dolls in Norwegian dress, also Barbies with Norwegian language packaging) and souvenirs, and perhaps some yarn.

 

If any of you have any recommendations on finding the above at our other ports (Alesund, Tromso, Honningsvag, Geiranger, Olden) please post these too. I don't expect there is nearly so much there as in Bergen, but at least we won't be visiting those places on a Sunday.

I have not been to Bergen but if it is anything like Stavanger, there is NOTHING open on Sunday

Aside from tourist shops, there won't be much open. You'll probably be able to find a few souvenirs in the touristy places in Bergen, but for anything else, Tromsø or Ålesund will probably be your best bets. Norli and Ark are the common book store chains, and BR and Brio sell toys.
