Any price reduction on the Sept. 22 Star Princess Transatlantic sailing?

Has anyone seen any announcement of a price reduction on the Sept. 22, 2005 sailing of the Star Princess. It is being advertised as the Iceland/ Greenland Transatlantic crossing.

You need to monitor pricing on some of the online travel sites, it is the best way to watch for a price drop. Usually when they do any type of promotions it is after final payment and too late for you to take advantage of.

I looked at one of the on-line travel sites. I looked only at Princess' transatlantics. Seems the Star crossing is only 31% off brochure rates, whereas many of the others are 51-54% off. Closely watching the rates is the only way to determine which way the rates are heading.

There are a couple of sites that will show on-line pricing. It sometimes pays to know when final payments are due and look for bargains shortly thereafter.
