Teens on NCL Jewel

Hi, this is my second cruise but my first post on cruise critic so I am hoping someone can help me out!
My family and I are attending the NCL Jewel in Dec and my brother (14) and I (17) want to spend some time in the Teen Club. We have gone on the Carnival Freedom before, but there were 0 teens. It was basically me my brother and our 2 cousins. so I have never been to one.
1) What kind of activities or parties are there for teens , and do I need to purchase the "teen passport" to participate?
We will be going during New Years Eve, is there a seperate party for teens or is there just one for everyone?

There was already a roll call started for your sailing. Maybe there are families with teens already on the roll call.
