Kids on Jet Boat in Saint John?

My adventurous 7 year old saw the video of the jet boat "thrill ride" at Reversing Falls and really wants to go when we are there next week. Has anyone done this with a child this age? She meets the height requirement and they offer a child rate... If I am reading the tide chart correctly it looks like low tide will be at around 4 pm (when they limit the ride to those age 13 and over for 2 hours). If we can reserve for the morning do you think it will be fun for her or just too scary? I am looking for any input you can provide. Thanks.

Although the height limit is reached, I would be concerned about the weight of your child - the ride can be deceivingly rough. I would recommend calling them directly at 1-888-634-8987 and asking them - they would probably offer the best guidance. 7 seems a bit young to me - I would hesitate taking my 8 year old nephew.
