Anybody stay at the Homewood Suites - Miami Airport ?

Has anybody stayed at the Homewood Suites, Miami Airport ? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Have stayed in the Homewood Suites many times b4 just not in Florida. The hotel is great. Nice seperate bedroom suites with full kitchen, couch, recliner, 2x tv's etc. Free hot breakfast every morning. Outdoor pool & pool table on second floor. Nothing to complain about this hotel at all. I would recommend it to everyone!

We stayed at the Homewood Suites - Miami airport last year. It is an awesome hotel; one of the nicest I've ever been at. The rooms are beautiful and the breakfast was very extensive. You'll love it there.

We have friends who stayed in the Homewood Suites in Ft Lauderdale by the airport. We stayed elsewhere but visited them at their hotel. I think it depends on what you're looking for. If it's a resort type of hotel with the services that go along with it, then this is not the place for you. The one in Ft. Lauderdale didn't have a pool nor did it have the holiday atmosphere that you find at a resort. Their clientelle was largely made up of business people staying there on long term assignments and that changed the ambiance greatly. But the suites themselves were great, complete with mini kitchens.

Thanks everyone for your responses. We're just staying one night before we catch a flight the next morning. We just wanted a nice property with complimentry shuttle service to the Miami airport. We probably won't bother renting a car due to the short time so we just have to now decide on a restaurant for dinner that night before. I don't suppose anybody familiar with the area has any recommendations ? ? ?
