We are going to grand cayman and cozumel we want to go to the beach and shop any shortcuts to these places ? dont want to miss the boat on out etc a family of 8 that will be us .

Next. If you looked further down the boards first page there are "Ports of Call" boards as well. You will most likely get better info in those locations that are specifically for each port.

Congrats on your first cruise. I think once you try it you will be hooked. As for the ports of call you might find more 411 on the Ports of Call boards, folks will post lots of information.

I have been to both places. You might consider swimming with the rays in Cayman you can do this by booking yourself, you don't have to do it via Carnival. You will find that the operators are very careful about getting folks back on time as their reputation depends on it. Have fun, Lydia of Ohio

Have you tried looking on the ports of call boards? They can be very helpful with city bus or cheaper transportation issues. I know in Cozumel you can see a great beach just down the coast from where you dock.... We did not go there (just walked around the port area) but the water there looks amazing. Grand Cayman... if you get a chance.... do the Stingray city experience with a local operator. It is such a cool thing.
