Formal Night

On the typical seven day cruise (Spirit/mediterranean), is there generally any consistancy to "which" night is formal night?

It's likely influenced by the itinerary. Silversea probaby wouldn't schedule a formal night in a port where many passengers are ashore in the evening and the ship departs late at night. Formal nights are more likely on sea days or days when the ship departs late in the afternoon. (The first night is always casual.)
