cotatica Posted July 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2012 I need lumbar support and I have found that missing in my new, 2 months, Travelscoot. Today I tried a very inexpensive, mesh back rest I have and it works great. I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier as I was about to have something custom made. It can be found on the internet or some drugstores and I even saw them at the Dollar Store a while back. I took the back horizontal strap and put it over the back rest. I took the two vertical straps and they fit just fine over the back rest. So much more comfortable and great support. Hope this helps others. I love my travelscoot! EileenN Posted July 30, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2012 I see what you are suggesting but cannot imagine it on the backrest on the Travelscoot. Would you be able to post a picture of it? I find the backrest to be a bit too high.
