Marty845 Posted August 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2012 I am thinking buying a transfer from Port of Miami to MIA airport after my Celebrity cruise. How does the transfer work? (Celebrity quoted me $16.80 for the transfer) . Does Celebrity take care of my luggage and get it to Delta, or do I wait for bus to unload luggage at airport so I can then check luggage, etc. Any information would be helpful. Thanks! Gonzo70 Posted August 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 6, 2012 Unless you are cruising solo a cab will be quicker, easier, cheaper and more comfortable.
biker1972 Posted August 6, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2012 There might be a valet luggage service available for your cruise. You pay a fee, tag your luggage, and it goes to the airport. The fee includes a boarding pass, is per person and does not include airline luggage fees. You pay separately for your personal transfer. If using the cruiseline transfer, expect a bus and not leaving until the bus is full. Transfers are per person so as mentioned it is often cheaper to use a taxi or shuttle service. Also quicker.
