mitfine Posted May 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 15, 2005 Am sailing on the Dawn next Sunday with a two year old and a four year old. I am wondering what activities there are for the children. Also, can they go to the camp while we are having dinner. What baby sitting provisions are there for the evenings. Would appreciate any info and/or suggestions. Hi Mitfine - Have you joined our roll call? I haven't seen you post! Come on over and have some fun! As for the children, the camp keeps them pretty busy, though I am not sure how late it actually goes. You can hire a babysitter on the ship, they will come to your cabin and watch the children while you enjoy your evenings on the ship!
smeyer418 Posted May 16, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2005 all you need to know is here. http://www.ncl.com/more/kidscrew_mini.htm I think they need baby sitting for OF

I'm pretty sure this is not a correct statement. There is group sitting but I am pretty sure there is not individual, where they come to your room. smeyer418 Posted May 16, 2005 #5 Share Posted May 16, 2005 NCL prohibits its crew from doing baby sitting in the cabins.
nycglitter Posted May 16, 2005 #6 Share Posted May 16, 2005 Hmmm that's weird. Last year we met folks who arranged for their child to be babysat in their room. I didn't check it out for myself as my oldest daughter was able to babysit...

mitfine Posted May 16, 2005 Author #8 Share Posted May 16, 2005 Thanks for info. I was so happy when I heard that you can get babysitters. But from subsequent replies, this does not seem possible. What do they do for group sitting? How late do they keep them?
