Hello all my boyfriend and I are going on our very first cruise (my first time outside the US) Oct 4 on the Ecstacy, we r looking into things to do and he wants to explore Nassau shopping district and I want to enjoy the enjoy the beach. We r in port 10-7 on a Friday and just wondering what is best for us to walk around for a bit then relax on the beach with a few drinks and make the most of our money.....I really like the RUI....

Do some shopping and then walk to Junkanoo beach for a couple of hours.. it's 10 minutes out of town. Has chairs to rent, bar, concession stands etc.

Or take a jitney for $1.25 to the sheraton and pay $25pp

Unless you're a drinker, All inclusives really aren't worth it.

RUI beach is the same as the Free beach next door - Cabbage Beach.. accessible by cab for $4.pp.
