Gulf Storm repeat

Leaving out of NOLA on Saturday onboard the Elation. Looks like it might get a bit bumpy and wet on our way south. Isaac is trying to brew back up south of NOLA out in the gulf. Oh, well, that is part of cruising during hurricane season. :p

Well, maybe.

 

A couple of things in your favor - Isaac sucked up a lot of the available energy and also would have stirred the water, cooling it off some and dissipating more potential storm energy.

I think this storm is headed easy and your headed south. You are like me watching the storms. I leave a week from Sunday on the Freedom out of FLL. I go on National Hurricane website everyday looking for potential storms that may cause trouble on our cruise. I too see now why I got such a great rate in September. I hope you have a great cruise.

Living right on the coast, always watching the weather. It is going to be a great cruise no matter what the weather. I sleep great when the ship is rocking and rolling. Way too many years at sea to count and never ever get sea sick.
