katti michele Posted September 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2012 I'm interested in booking either the "Stingray and Island" tour thru Nativeway ($60) or the "Stingray Sandbar, Hell, & Turtle Farm Experience" thru Carnival ($71.99). Both seem like they go to the same areas (Stingray City, Hell, Turtle Farm) and are around the same price, so i'm trying to find personal experiences for both or either one. Any information would be great! Can't decide if the extra $11 for Carnival would give me peace of mind, or if the Nativeway group would give us a better experience overall. It'll be just 2 of us on December 13th from 7am-4pm. Thanks! :)
zzupschuck Posted September 17, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2012 The Carnival Excursion will have 40-50 people on a boat...Nativeway will have 15-20.
katti michele Posted September 27, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted September 27, 2012 I believe we have decided to go with Nativeway. This may be a silly question and I plan on communicating with them before booking, but are the prices they list on their website in USD or Cayman currency? Colorado Kat Posted September 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2012 Typically, the costs should be US Dollars. I would also book Nativeway, over Carnival.

I now believe the costs are in Cayman dollars. Sorry if I misled anyone.

Nativeways prices are listed on their website in USD. http://www.nativewaywatersports.com/tours.htm We used them last month and made our payment also in USD.
