Best way to bring water/drinks on board?

Have been on several cruises but never even thought to carry our own case of water or Diet Cokes specifically. (Pepsi isn't "allowed" in the South, LOL)

What's the best way? Pack in a suitcase? Loose case with a luggage tag?

Would like to bring soda AND water...didn't know if we were limited to amount of tagged luggage we drop off.

Smaller bottles of water okay? I know that people try to smuggle booze in them and don't want to be sent to the naughty room... LOL

Thanks in advance!

wrap as many 12 packs or cases with duct tap or stretch wrap and put a luggage tag on it. I have seen some use cheap fold-able hand carts to tape them to so they do not have lug them to the dock. No limit other than the number of tags you have or what your willing to carry on.
