Directions From Pier to N Orleans Harrah's Hotel From Julia Pier

We will be arriving at the pier in New Orleans in Nov, 2012 with lots of luggage and 6 others.

What is the best way to get all of us from the pier to Harrah's N.O?

Harrah's is 5 blocks from the port.

When you exit the port there is a street car (tram) stop.

And there is one next to Harrah's.

You could have one person take the bags in a taxi van and the people that don't fit either take the street car or walk.

If you each can handle your bags for a short distance you could walk.
