Leaving for Bermuda next Week from NJ, Temperature at Sea

We’re trying to figure out how to dress during the 3 days we’re at sea next week(First week of Oct). We have 2 full days at sea going to Bermuda from New Jersey and one full day coming back to New Jersey.

 

It is usually warm enough this time of year during the days for shorts and a t-shirt aboard the ship while at sea? I'm hoping the sun is shining down on us :)

I'd check the weather I new jersey for your start point and expect it to get warmer as you get closer to Bermuda. Fall can be really fickle- in southern Ontario this week was hits in the low 50's but the forecast for next week is highs in the low 7o's.

I can tell you we cruise to Bermuda each fall. It really depends on the weather when we leave here. Last year the day before we left, we had that freak october snowstorm.

 

Usually it's chilly for sailaway as we leave at 4pm. We always bring our jackets and have a light jacket or sweater for the next morning at sea.

The 2nd full day at sea is usually gorgeous.

It's better to be prepared.

 

Same for the trip back. You'll be prepared.
