Book Celebrity while on the ALLURE

HI,

I did do a search first but did not find the answer to my question.

 

Ok...

So from what I remember....if I am on a CELEBRITY Ship...and I book a SPECIFIC cruise on a CELEBRITY Ship....I get a 2 category upgrade and an OBC. The OBC is because I am ELITE and is based on the length of the cruise and type of room.

 

NOW ...If I'm on the ALLURE....and I want to book a CELEBRITY Ship...will I get the SAME Benefits? OR will they NOT offer that 2 category upgrade.

 

Has anyone tried this recently and can tell me what happened??

We weren't sure which Celebrity cruise we were going to take and purchased a next cruise certificate for Celebrity. I thought I would get the upgrade and on board credit when I used it, but may be wrong. Maybe someone on the Celebrity board knows the answer.
