MandyGirl Posted October 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2012 Just to have a double-check... In Cozumel, can we safely do a 1:00 Dolphin Encounter (lasts approximately 1 hour) and be back at ship for 3:45 all aboard? Plenty of taxis at Chankanaab for the return? From a previous cruise, I know Disney Magic stays with local time, and our cruise is right after the time change in November. Also, I know there are lockers at Chankanaab but we have a 2 year old. Car seat? Or are they required? (Yes, I know it's safest to be in a car seat, just thinking of logistics) Thanks so much for feedback! :)
mrsfuzzmo Posted October 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2012 I would be nervous about those time slots. hmmm, especially with a two year old in tow. If it were just myself I might chance it. i'm sure it can be done, but I would be stressed the whole time worrying about it. There a reason they call it "Mexican time". As far as taxis, yes there will be plenty available, as far as car seats, no they are not required and they would be hard to come by (if not impossible) in a taxi in Cozumel. MandyGirl Posted October 13, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted October 13, 2012 I think I've talked myself out of it. Thanks for helping solidify that gut instinct I had to not do it. :)
Colorado Kat Posted October 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2012 Yes, a little too close for comfort for me. Especially with a 2 year old.

Sometimes there are long lines to get through the security line. Also depends how many ships in the port. They are pretty strict and look through everything so it takes time. Then some people start arguing with the security which holds the line. I traveled with 3 years old last year and made sure to be at the port at least two hours before departure. Are are going to end up watching the clock instead of enjoying the tour.
