Snorkel tours w/prescription masks?

Recommended Posts

We snorkeled in Hawaii, and - to our delight - the company had "prescription" masks (designated 2X, 3X....). Because we weren't sure we'd ever snorkel again, getting our own masks wasn't an option. (And neither of us can wear contacts.)

So the question is, how common is it for snorkeling tours to have these simple (leveled 2X, 3X, etc.) "prescription" masks?

Anyone know?
