Marina Village at night?

We'll be docked overnight in Nassau and are trying to think of something to do. We've been to the Marina Village during the day and enjoyed sitting on a bench people watching and looking at the yachts. Has anybody been there at night? Is it dead or "lively"? Is it safe? Easy to get a taxi at night to get back? Any other ideas of what to do? (besides Senor Frogs, LOL)

There's not alot to do this time of year since it's off season. Marina Village will still be your best bet. The band still plays at Bimini Road, and the shops are open til 10. Cabs are available at the Coral tower exit.. at the north end of the village.

Other things.. depends on the day of the week. Sharkeys is downtown on the wharf, green parrot at the bridge. Again, it's off season.. not alot of "action" except the weekend.
