Cambria Suites - Dania Beach

Hi, we are staying one night at Cambria Suites on 19th Street, before our cruise the next day. We'll be landing about noon. I'm trying to find some idea what it will cost us to get around. We have 7 people, plus luggage. Please provide information on 1. getting from FLL to our hotel, then 2. getting from hotel to cruise. Should we rent a car and then return it the next day? Should we just rely on taxis to get around? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I would look at getting a rental for the day. The hotel isn't really around much, so unless you are fine with spending the day around the hotel pool and walking 15-20 minutes and up to get to restaurants, taxis are going to add up. 7 people in a minivan is going to be tight, especially with luggage, but if the hotel still as a shuttle from the airport, you might be able to send a few people ahead while getting the van. Same deal with getting to the port. You could probably send a couple people over to the port early in the van and drop all the luggage off. Alamo and National operate a free shuttle bus from the airport care rental center to the port.
