Playa Mia Grand Beach Club

Can anyone tell me about Playa Mia Brand Beach Club? I booked a beach excursion through Shore trips and this is where it is at.

We went to this beach on a RCCL shore excursion. The bus ride, admission, food, drinks, and non-motorized toys were included. We had a great time at this beach. The only downside was the lounge chairs. They were the molded plastic type they lay directly on the sand. Sort of awkward for the 40+ crowd to get in and out of and not really comfortable after a few hours. The bars served "domestic" liquors (i.e. brands you never heard of) but for our group that was just fine. The food was plentiful. Facilities were clean, water was beautiful. Not much in the way of snorkeling though.

Thanks for your posts. I feel much better about going there now. I am looking forward to trying some different beers so that won't bother us.
