Glory and Valour are newer and larger. They are also different line. As you can see from below I believe in trying different lines. Yes, some people will say that Celebrity is far better then Carnival but you will have more things to do on the Glory and Valour. Also you experience a bigger ship to compare with the little one. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Glory and Valor are similiar ships.........they are newer too. i'm going on valor :D good luck on finding a ship. i was on triumph in 1999 (when it came out) and it was nice.......i dunno how it is like now but it is probably still good :)

CaptData.........it is Valor not Valour ;)

I just returned from the Glory and had a fantastic time. While it's true this is a very large ship it was a wonderful experience. The cruise director Mark Price is great. Very personable and funny. The 3 hosts I met, Wee Jimmy, Joe and Carleen were very nice and would joke around with us.

I didn't go to the pool that much, I had too much fun running around the ship playing Trivia and enjoying the shows. The Robin Hood skit was very funny ( audience participation is a must).

On the Glory they play a game called Carnival Colors, the first night in the dining room, your table has a card with a color on it, either red, white or blue. You earn points for your team by winning games, bingo, casino etc. Every night at dinner they annouce what team is in the lead. On the 5th night, we had a deck party on the lido deck competing in a conga line, scream contest and dancing.

I would definetly go back on Glory!

We sailed the Triumph, Eastern itinerary, last April and had a ball. The ship was beautiful, though laid out a little strangely; took awhile to figure out how to get where we wanted to go. The ship seemed crowded compared to our previous cruise (RCI Voyager), ex: the public bathrooms (especially on the pool deck!) are really small and hard to get in and out of. But like I said, we had a great time and I would definately recommend this ship! The crew and pax are friendly and there are toms of things to do and see onboard!
