candybars Posted December 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2012 Am I the only person having trouble printing my "e doc" on my mac computer? Called HAL several times and feel I need to be a computer specialist. Asked, after trying and trying, if they could mail them to me... was advised to use the computer in my public library. Spend all this money and I need to borrow someones computer. Very sad... not a good thing HAL. you need to do something on your end. :(
superoma Posted December 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 5, 2012 Are the edocs coming to you as PDF files? Normallly these can be printed easily but I have had issues with my printer (windows based) where it takes a LONGGGGGGGG time for the pdf to load to the printer - not sure why. Also, you might have to move from pending status to print now for the printer. Now, if they are not even loading for you on MAC, then I have no idea. Can you email them to yourself and try to print from the email - I am thinking of a copy and paste to an email of only the relevant pages from the document. you don't need the whole thing. You might also try to save the file to your desktop and then print from there. Often computers make our life more frustrating rather than simpler!! ChaCr Posted December 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2012 I've never had a problem. You do have to download Adobe Acrobat Reader though. That's a free download. CP
