terryde Posted May 31, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 31, 2005 Were just in Key West May 22 on the Carnival Glory from noon -6pm. We wanted to snorkel, so as soon as our cell phone worked, we called places - there are several that are reasonable - $35-45 pp to go out for 3 -31/2 hours, go to two reefs, sodas on the way out and snacks, beer, wine, sodas on the way back. They have all of the equipment included and will teach you - the one we used (Reef raiders) also does scuba on the same trip. Others we heard were good were Sunny Days, Fury and Sebago. Check websites for all - all are cheaper than the Carnival one. Then after that, we just walked around- went to Kinos Sandals (it is a few blocks from the downtown pier), got key lime pie on a stick, tee shirts, etc.
cruisecrzy Posted July 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 23, 2005 I have been having a hard time figuring out who to use for a snorkeling trip, does any one have any other experiences to share about some of the other tour operators? Did you choose these guys for a reason?
nanners Posted July 26, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2005 We used Fury Catamarans back in December for a sunset/snorkeling cruise. It was wonderful! We used them because we had a 2 for 1 coupon. It turned out to be well worth it. Enjoy! Nanners
