Kellie Poodle Posted December 31, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2012 I usually purchase a soda package, but I've now started drinking only Coke Zero and RCI doesn't have it on Mariner, not even to purchase by the can. I much prefer it to Diet Coke. I remember reading on CC about people bringing on cases of soda and water and I'm wondering if I pack a 12 pack of Coke Zero, will it be confiscated? Is there a special way to pack it or tag it?
unionville3 Posted December 31, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 31, 2012 We sailed from Galveston in June on the Carnival Magic - we packed our water bottles, a case of Sprite Zero, and two bottles of wine in a rolling suitcase as a carry on bag. I know that Carnival is a little more lenient with sodas and juice, but the port security only examined the water bottles. She took out every individual water (yes, unpacked them from the case) and shook each bottle. Never blinked an eye at the soda or wine. We plan to "check" our case of water with a luggage tag when we sail on the Freedom next summer.
