Nathan's Golf Cart Rental

Nathan's carts can be a little iffy. Last time we had one the brakes were more of a Fred Flintstone variety . We are renting from him again though in April. Figure you can't go to far (or fast) before you run into sand and water :D.

We just returned from our cruise which involved renting a golf cart from Nathan, it was going to be a highlight of our cruise, but sadly to say it was far from it! Beware, first we got to where Nathans daughter got us our cart, RED FLAG #1. We have one cart you reserved but we also have a suv for the same price! we said no thanks. Ok RED Flag #2, we got our cart and she gave us a map with 3 phone numbers on it, just in case we need to get ahold of them incase of trouble! Well 15 minutes into our ride with the cart, we decided to pull into a gas station for a bottle of water, and the cart would not start. SO we called a number, 15 min later a guy picked us up and took us to where all the carts are. YIKES! a scarey site. Looked like a golf cart graveyard! Long story but he took us to the cruise port, said we'd be refunded but I have yet to see the credit! Very disappointing for sure, I wanted so badly to see the island on our own. We ended up at the massive beach area by the cruise ships, I walked the beach to the left of the beach swimming area and found the most beautiful conch shell so I was happy in the end!

We were on the 2/16 sailing of the Carnival Breeze - we missed Grand Turk - does anyone have a phone number for Nathan?

Thank you!

Called him at this number in Jan. He will ask you for a credit card or you can email him at nathanandlinda at tciway.tc

Rented a golf cart from Nathan in early Jan. for our March 1st arrival in Grand Turk. Emailed him first. He replied that I needed to call back with a credit card number, so I did. Received an email confirming the reservation.

When we arrived in Grand Turk we were the second ship to arrive (got there at 1:00). We walked all the way out of the cruise terminal gate. I was expecting to see a rental lot of golf carts. Instead we were directed to a lady sitting in a car--Nathan's sister. She told us there was a problem. There were no more golf carts. She said we could have a Jeep or car instead for the same price ($80). We asked where the Jeep was and she pointed to a Ford Explorer. There was a nice car available as well (can't remember the model). We took the Explorer and had no problems. We were told that it would have to have 3/4 tank of fuel in it when we returned. They would refill it for us for $20. We ended up using less than 1/4 of a tank. The island is small.

When we asked why so few golf carts, the response was that many are in need of repair. It takes 30 days to receive parts from Miami. They only had 9 available and 3 weren't working. Turned out the SUV was a better deal for us, because we could get around the island much faster and could lock up valuables when we wanted to walk around or snorkel.

As I stated earlier - I was on the Carnvial Breeze - due to be in Grand Turk on 2/16 and rented a golf cart from Nathan.

We missed the port.

I have emailed him 4 times and called and talked to him 2 times - still no credit back.

Just a FYI
