Will port taxes and gov. fees be less if Progresso is dropped from Glory itinerary???

Will the pricing drop because of one less port? For sure you are going to spend more money with the extra sea day. I love the sea days! I feel that the port taxes and gov fees should be removed if they decide to remove Progresso from the itinerary.

Seasounds--a friend/neighbor of mine works for Carnival and heard about it. I think she said departures through August (those who have already paid) will see the refund on their Sail & Sign card, very little since I guess the charges for Progreso are small. Those with sailings after August or so the taxes/port charge will be adjusted on the reservation. I agree. . . don't spend it all in one place! Lol.

When we booked this port was listed. Just the other day I saw it was gone, why was it dropped? Thanks

According to Carnival it was an unpopular stop and Guests would prefer more time in Cozumel.
