Restaurant in Juneau

We are going to be in Juneau on Friday June 17 (Volendam) and we are doing Capt Larry whale watching which doesn't end until 6:30pm.

 

We were thinking that maybe we want to go to a "must try" Juneau restaurant when we return from the whale watching. (we will miss our early dinner seating).

 

Anyone have any recommendations?

When I talked to Carol from Orca Enterprises, she suggested the Twisted Fish. She did say it gets busy and to try to make reservations ahead of time.

Cathy and I ate at the Twisted Fish (at Taku Fisheries right beside the Mount Roberts tram) last September, and it was superb. The only other truly memorable meal I've had in Juneau was a few years ago, in a restaurant that is now the tanzanite shop :(

Is it close to where the ship docks??
