plan2go Posted January 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2013 Our family of 4 (mom, dad, 11 and 8yo sons) is planning a private tour from Ocho Rios in early April. We don't want touristy but would love to see views from higher elevations, learn about the country, see a beautiful beach, see a waterfall, maybe a small amount of shopping. We are open to suggestions that would interest the kids as well...What do you suggest?
gbaker770 Posted January 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Have them take you through the spice mountains and do not miss the rafting on the White River. The highlight of our cruise by far. We did not sea a single other party rafting for the 3 hours we were there. Gorgeous! Off the beaten path for sure.
kcdancerkc Posted January 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2013 The one thing we have not done in Jamaica after many stays is Martha Brae bannana rafting - looks very cool. On our bucket list. The very most cool things to do are on the west/south parts of island - too far for a day tour. Look on tripadvisor.com
