Avis rental at Port Canaveral

What is the closest drop off to the pier at Port Canaveral? Is there a shuttle to the pier? Have a car reserved for after cruise as well.

Got the rental from Orlando to PC for $25 but $52 after the cruise returning to Orlando.

 

Anyone done this?

Even though I haven't done it yet, I plan to do something similar for my disney cruise in sept. You should check out www.dcltribute.com. Although it is partially geared to disney, it also has some very helpful info about airports, rental car info, hotels, etc.... in the cape canaveral area.

I believe the Avis drop is located at the Radisson which is very close to the port. We didn't rent, but friends staying at the hotel did (from orlando) and we hopped on the AVIS shuttle with them. And we did the same thing post-cruise.

 

Our next cruise in November, we're be doing the same thing...only renting from budget. We're flying in the day before and staying at the Comfort Inn in Cocoa Beach. Then we'll drop the car off at Budget in the morning and hop their shuttle.
