Texas Liquor Laws

Got my answer on another board so thought I would pass it on since so many have looked at this.

Only alcohol purchased in Texas can be served or delivered while in port in Texas. This law greatly limits the bars that are open and drinks that are available when the ship is docked in Texas. The majority of the liquor served on the ships is loaded on board on certain Caribbean islands where there are better prices. A minimal amount is purchased in Texas for sale/consumption prior to sailaway.
