Hi everyone!

Cruising on the Sensation to the Bahamas Feb 10-14 and trying to figure out what to do while in port. The last time I visited was in April and the water wasn't too bad, but I am wondering if it will be worth it to go snorkeling or go to Atlantis this time of year, or if we should just visit the city and do some sight seeing. I would love to get in the water, but don't want to waste money if it is too cold. Any input would be great.

Thanks :)

Water can be a bit chilly this time of year.. temps between 70/72 degrees.

Ok for a quick dip if your from the north.

If you are planning on snorkeling (45/60 mins in the water).. you should consider a shorty wetsuit.

Personally, I haven't gotten my ankles wet since Thanksgiving.

We booked an early am catamaran snorkel excursion last Feb. The weather was overcast and water choppy. Only a few ventured into the water and most came right back out freezing. However, by the time we got back to shore around noon, the weather was beautiful. Therefore, my recommendation so to avoid water activities in the morning and enjoy afternoon.

Cheers!
