Magic - when to embark with FTTF?

Hi, would like to get on early and we booked FTTF - but I read on another post here that the embarkation is sometimes delayed if the ship has just come back from a Belize itinerary.

Has anyone had any experience with this? We had planned on getting there around 10:30 to 11:00 - will that be too early?

Okay, posted this earlier today, but then came home to an email from Carnival telling us boarding won't start until 12:30.

I know they sometimes send these out to try to spread out boarding, but this one specifically mentioned extra customs checks because of the stop in Belize on the incoming cruise.

So just asking again if anyone has sailed the Magic the week after the Belize itinerary, and what your experience was with boarding times. Thanks!
