Gotta Love E.S.

I just submitted another $140 for our upcoming March Breeze cruise. We have 2 balcony's and an interior...I've saved $920 total so far!

It's rather addicting and I feel just like Santa came when I see a price drop...lol

How do you check for ES price drops? I've booked early saver for a cruise in June. Do I just go to carnival's website and act like I'm booking the cruise, again?

I understand that it has to be the same ship, cabin category, deck, etc, but is there an easier way to track it?

http://www.carnival.com/BookingEngine/FareViewer/ makes it easy to check for price drops.

You can not get the Super Rate or Instant Rate w ES. I also found an OBC of $250, a Casino Rate that I would not have found thru fare viewer. I always do a mock booking. Fare viewer will not show special rates that are for certain pax, like casino rate.

Waiting to hear back from Carnival on our ES March cruise on the Victory.. sent my form in yesterday... 100.00 down from what we paid for an 8C balcony catagory... :):) this is my first... just checked our Nov cruise on the Conquest but that one has gone up...

So if I understand this correct... we have paid in full for the March cruise.. so the 100.00 (if approved) will be on board credit??

I have requested and received price adjustment twice already for our cruise next weekend. However, when I check fareviewer now, it says no rates are available for your criteria. Does that mean my category is sold out? And does that mean no more rate adjustments for me?

I am also waiting to hear about our price drop $200(the first) for our Valor Cruise March 10 in an 8C. I filled out the form 4 days ago but haven't heard anything yet. HOWEVER, I checked under manage my cruise and it shows I have a $204 credit(taxes/fees went down $4). I filled out the form for my friends on the same cruise and they have a $266 credit under manage my cruise.

Now for the really strange part, I did get an email for another cabin in our group that they had a $43 OBC. I checked the rates for their category and sure enough it had gone down $40 and taxes down $3. I DID NOT fill out a form for theirs because I didn't think they qualified for it. I checked with them and they didn't fill it out either.

Check under manage my cruise in a few days if you still haven't heard anything.

Thanks! I see you live in Georgia, my brother in-law lives in Mableton, which is just outside of Atlanta.

I live on the other side of Atlanta in Lawrenceville. Mableton is probably about 50 miles from me. Not like driving around Mass. :D
