Wine Store near Country Inns and Suites is NOLA

Hi there. Is there a wine store in walking distance to the Country Inns and Suites on Magazine Street? After seeing the changes Royal just made to the wine package (terrible for us....ALL of our favorites are gone) we are definitely going to carry wine onboard. Would really rather not travel with it in our suitcases when we fly though. Thanks for any help!

There isn't much around there except for a couple of convenience store, with high prices and very limited selections, so you will have to do some walking.

 

There is a store at 422 Chartres Street in the French Quarter called Vieux Carre Wine & Spirits, with a very nice selection and reasonable prices. It would be about a ten-block walk.
