what to do close to IAH.

Our flight leaves IAH at 7:30p on April 6th and our limo will be dropping us off around 1p at IAH. We wanted to go straight to the airport so we could drop off all of our luggage and not have to take it everywhere (there are 7 of us). Is there anything close to the airport that a taxi could take us to, relatively inexpensive? Any ideas are appreciated. I know that NASA would be too far and a lot of back tracking. Thank you

I don't think there's anything really close to IAH. You could go back into downtown but, there's not a public transportation option.

The only thing close to IAH is Deerbrook Mall in Humble. There are some strip shopping centers up there with the usual stores. There are a couple of restaurants...Pappas Seafood. These are all off of Hwy. 59N and not too far from IAH. But, nothing really interesting up there.

Exactly correct. There's a Marriot hotel in the IAH complex. Contact them. They might have a day rate.
