Cruisingdean Posted January 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2013 I will be sailing on The Liberty of the Sea March 7-11, and they are offering the new premium drink package for $220.00 after tax per person. It would include beer, wine, frozen drinks, soda, and juices. I am the drinker my girlfriend is not. They only let you purchase the package if everyone in the stateroom purchases one. It wouldn't be worth it for her to buy one. I know this is brand new to RCL but I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this or if anyone was able to have RCL make an exclusion and only let one person purchase the package. Thanks! Cruisingdean Posted January 30, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Thank you! Saw a lot of different views and opinions on the situation. Just curious if anyone had success only paying for one person.

Just curious if anyone had success only paying for one person. All adults of legal drinking age have to purchase if you're in the same cabin, as far as I know, so there wouldn't be a way "out" unless you're bringing more people, like children, and have them in the same cabin as you on paper. Moeve Posted January 30, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2013 The line simply knows it cannot trust many of its clients not to share and they are not the only ones so I can understand why they would make it compulsory for all in the cabin to purchase the package. It is a case of take it or leave it.
