Which Cabin is Better

We will be on the Caribbean Princess in March and was upgraded from BE Balcony to BC Aloha Mid-ship, is it worth the extra $$$ to pay for the Caribe deck, even if it won't be mid-ship, or is mid-ship better than taking my chances for a larger balcony at the front or back?

Depends on how much more?

The prices I have seen lately for those Caribe deck balconies are not worth it.

You can use the saved $$$$ to use onboard. ;)

I'd do the Caribe balcony cabin. I much prefer a cabin towards the aft in the 600's or 700's and am probably in the minority that doesn't like mid-ship. My one and only upgrade was from a BD balcony to a mid-ship AA mini-suite. I liked the AA but hated the location.
