Snorkel Excursion

Has anyone taken the stingray island snorkel/excursion through RCL or some local guides? What were your impressions? Which is better? Will RCL's excursion be too crowded? (we are on the RCL Explorer) We have 2 children 11 &7 going with, which would be better for them? We missed going to the stingray thing on our last stop in Grand Caymen years ago (due to bad weather), want to make sure we do it up right this time!

We did an excursion through Captain Marvins and it was wonderful! For less money per person we went to three different places to snorkel- coral gardens, barrier reef, and stingray city. The boat was smaller and held less people and the guides were terrific. We took our two year old daughter and she stayed on the boat with her grandma, one of the guides would find sea shells and give them to her, she was so thrilled. I would highly recomend them over the ship excursion.
