Carnival ROCKS! Price Adjustment - OBC

We booked with a future cruise certificate in a cloud 9 balcony on the the Breeze with the early saver option almost a year ago. The new "MORE=MERRIER" promotion became available which was much less, however, the category was "sold out" in a quad. I called to ask about an adjustment and was told there was no way of checking what the price would be and nothing that could be done. I then wrote to Carnival and explained the situation and my dissapointment that by booking a higher category early, were were in fact penalized...Well - I got a response back. They did some research and under the "More=Merrier" there was lower price available previously and since we booked with early saver they made a one time exception and granted a $700 OBC - I am so impressed they did the right thing AND kept me as a future cruiser with their line. Way to go Carnival!:)

Oh wow that is awesome!! We received a $400 price drop before we made final payment and a $60 on board credit. I do not think we will receive anymore as the Ocean Suites are now sold out for our cruise, but I am happy we at least received something!

I almost didn't request the $20. But then was like...why not...doesn't cost anything to request and....that's a couple drinks! :D

The more=merrier rate has been great to us. Three of us in a balcony have gotten $160 this week, and my MIL and her three sisters who are in a suite snagged almost $400 yesterday. Keep 'me coming, I say! :D
