If you're going to do anything in Puerto Limon check out Charlie Soto. We used him during our Celebrity cruise last February and have kept in touch with him. He will take you anywhere you want to go - the usual - hill top lunch, banana plantation, Tortuguero Canal, a zip-line excursion only a half an hour from town (those not wanting to zip-line can do a fabulous hike through flora and fauna). He is extremely personable, dedicated to his family and trying to make a decent living for them, and has a great new van and terrific driver so he can concentrate on you and your desires. His written English is not perfect (excuse the grammar in his emails) but his spoken English is great and no one will try harder to make sure you have a good time in Puerto Limon.
