Re: History . . . and points of interest

Going on a cruise soon . . . nothing planned for this island.

 

My wife and I are not big shoppers . . . and she isn't much of a beach bum although the last time we were here we did visit the zoo and hang out at Dawn Bech for a bit.

 

This time around I'm stumped as to what to do . . . and where to go. Quite honestly the tours that go to Orient Beach and Maho Beach do not thrill me all that much.

 

Was wondering if there are any places or tours that are worth doing for the views, history, etc.

The view from St. Louis in Marigot is wonderful and Loterie Farm is a great place for lunch. No shopping or beaching required.:)
