girlsjustwannacruise Posted February 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2013 seeing some 'perks' advertised to booking through an online travel agency. this scares me though, because it is the unknown. what has been your experience? can you get the price protection that might be comparable to the carnival early saver?? any help would be appreciated. thanks. :D
cruisinqt Posted February 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2013 We have always used online travel sites without a problem and we've been cruising for ten years.;) And you can book early saver and past guest, etc. with an online booking site. We love cruise compete dot com. You put in the cruise you're interested in and agents send in quotes competing for your business. The quotes they give are lower than what you will be quoted on most online booking sites. And cruise compete only uses top rated agencies. We got a 7 day cruise on the Dream in the middle of summer (which is usually very pricey) for four people with a balcony for $2944 :D. Hope this helps.:)
