Pat and Diane's Snorkel with young kids?

Has anyone done Pat and Diane's Snorkel with young kids. Ours are 5 and 2 and we are thinking about trying this as our Freeport day in a few months. Both are comfortable in the water and we would have them in flotation devices. Can they float along with us? I am guessing the 5 year old might be able to use a mask and see things in the water? She uses goggles in the pool without issue... Should we try it or wait until another trip?
