Altun Ha Excursion Medical Restrictions?

We have reservations for the Altun Ha, river cruise, and lunch. The description lists medical restriction: --those with back/neck injuries--.

 

Should someone with back problems avoid this excursion? My wife's problems are worse after a bouncing ride. Is there another ruins excursion that would be a better choice?

The last several miles to Altun Ha is guite bumpy. We bounced even on a full sized bus. The boat for the river portion is a v-hull boat with no top, therefore, no shade. It is a bit difficult to get in and does move through the river quite fast.

 

I think if they are warning you that those with back issues should avoid this tour, I would heed it. If you decide to go, maybe do a tour with only the ruins and not the river.
