mill4023 Posted February 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Can anyone tell me what time these close at night? Thanks
mpk218 Posted February 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Generally 10pm , BUT they are not fixed times. If people are in them they tend to wait until they are not . ;) Except for the slides those require an attendant . P>S> I have seen some closed at 8 pm, if no one is out there they net them and call it a day.
nemini Posted February 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 19, 2013 For pools & slides, from my sailings on Epic in late summer and mid-winter, the general answer seems to be "when it gets dark." The hot tubs are more "when it's dark and no one's in them." Oddly, the hot tubs in Spice were still going during FABBA last week.
SliceOfLife Posted February 19, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2013 The times for the slides are listed in the Dailies. When I was on the Epic they had slides under the stars two nights and the slides were open until 8 or 9 pm. I have seen 2013 Dailies floating around here so you can peak at those to get an idea. mill4023 Posted February 19, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted February 19, 2013 That's too bad. I have the same complaint at many hotels. We like swimming after dark and it's always a bummer when the pools aren't open late. When I asked on the Carnival board, someone said the main pool on the Breeze was open until midnight, which if accurate, is definitely a plus. I complained about that when in Vegas, all the pools seem to close around 6pm. I wonder if it has to do with people getting drunk and falling in the pools or thinking they can swim and drown? riddle Posted February 20, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 20, 2013 I think in Vegas it is so you will get out of the pools, have an expensive dinner and then gamble, gamble, gamble.
