whynotsooner Posted February 24, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Hey all, I am planning a trip for my parents and I. I am in my teen's and they are in there 50's. We are planning to take a cruise on December 14 or 15th of this year(2013). The only thing is that we can't decide which ship to choose. They are both similar in price and embark within a 45 minutes drive of each other. We love to relax but still have things to do. Good food and evening entertainment are also key. Can I have some help?
Pam in CA Posted February 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2013 The Royal Princess is still being built so any opinions or recommendations would be based on deck plans and Princess promotion videos. She'll have several new features which people are looking forward to such as a greatly expanded Piazza which has an International Cafe as well as other venues and a sea walk over the ocean. She's a brand new ship. As an FYI, Celebrity doesn't have anything similar to the International Cafe.
wallie5446 Posted February 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2013 We were on the Ruby in Nov, overall it was just a cruise, nothing special. The Ultimate balcony dinning was the best meal we had all week, and service. We are booked on the Celebrity Reflection for this Nov.
