luggage restrictions

I'm going to be going on carnival pride..I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there is restrictions on how big your luggage can be an or the weights as well if there is restrictions on your personal things like shampoos ect?? thanks

There is a suggestion that you limit your checked bags to under 50 pounds each, but there is no scale. The only real limitation is what you carry on the ship must fit through a standard airport size xray machine.

No limits on liquids like shampoos and lotion or stuff like that. It can all be in your carry on if you like. And you don't have to follow any of those airport rules.

You don't have to take off your shoes, or belt/jacket or anything like that. They do want you to take your laptop out of the carryon bag, but you don't have to take it out of the sleeve.

From Carnival website:

"Guests are encouraged to limit their checked luggage to two suitcases per person, with each suitcase not to weigh more than 50 pounds and not exceed 16"H x 24"W (no length restrictions). Please attach your Carnival Cruise Lines luggage tags PRIOR to leaving home and make sure that they are still on your bags when checking in with us. In many ports, guests have the option of carrying luggage on board at embarkation and off the ship at the end of the cruise as long as it does not exceed 16"H x 24"W (no length restrictions)."
